Why do I need to verify myself?

If you are submitting your film to our platform, we need to know who you are and if you have the legal right to play your content on our platform. If required, we will contact you through your account messaging system and direct you to upload the required documents for review. Not all content verification will be required to go through this process.

Who can upload content?

If you are a content owner who has uploaded their content to YouTube, you are able to upload the same content to our Film Crib

I’ve uploaded my content, why can’t I see it on the website?

After you have uploaded your film, it will be sent to our review team for approval. Once approves your film will be live on the platform. Reviews usually take a few hours but during busy periods can take up to 48 hours.

What video formats are supported?

You can upload different types of video extensions including mov, flv, vob, mp4, m4v, mkv, avi, 3gp & mpg. However, we strongly recommend that, when possible, you upload files in .mp4 format, it will encode and load faster to the site that way.

Why is the video upload taking so long

The primary reason why your upload might be slow could be your connection speed, an upload speed of 50Mbps or higher is recommended for a fast upload of high-resolution films. If your upload speed is low, not to worry, your film will be uploaded it might just take a little longer. You can check your upload speed here

How do I upload my film

“Submit Film” buttons are placed throughout the site, click any of these and it will take you to the right place. Alternatively, you can upload via the studio which can be accessed from the pull-down menu at the top right of the page

Why can I not see where to upload my film

If you can’t see any buttons or the studio section from the pull-down menu, you may have registered as a viewer rather than a content creator, you can change this by going to the settings section of your account and then changing the user type to Content Creator

How do I get my film featured on the Main Page

To be eligible for this, you must upload a 10 to 15 second clip of your film during the submission process. Then if your film is in the top 20 films at any point the 10 second clip and the films details will be displayed on the landing page feature header
